Mexico celebrates Rosca de Reyes, Day of the Kings, on January the 6th. with Rosca de Reyes, a traditional cake with a Baby Jesus inside. The fable (story) is whoever gets the baby in their serving hosts a party on February 2 , which is Dia de la Candelaria, Day of the Baby Jesus lifting from his crib.
The Rosca may be ordered in two sizes and four different flavors (strawberry, pineapple, apple, and creamcheese). The small ($12.50) serves about 12 people and the large($25.00) serves about 25 people. Additional dolls cost $.50 each.
